Terms of Use
Version 2026-09-03
Who you are contracting with
FXScan is operated by Titan Software z.s., a registered association established under Czech law, IČO 29738725, with its registered office at Ametystová 702/46, Praha 16 - Radotín, 153 00, Czech Republic. Contact: [email protected].
These terms apply between Titan Software and you as the user of FXScan. By creating an account and accepting them you enter into a contract on this basis.
What the service does
FXScan performs static security analysis of FiveM resource archives. It parses the code it receives into a syntax tree and applies detection rules to it. It never executes, imports or runs that code, and it never contacts an endpoint found inside it.
What the results do and do not mean
A report tells you what the scanner recognised. It cannot tell you that a resource is safe: static analysis proves the presence of a pattern, never its absence, and a resource can behave maliciously in a way no rule covers. A clean report is evidence, not a guarantee.
Equally, a finding is not proof of malicious intent. Review every result before acting on it. You remain responsible for what you choose to run on your server, and for testing any sanitized archive before deploying it — applying a patch can break legitimate functionality.
The limits of the analysis are described in more detail in the notes, and are part of what you are agreeing to here.
Acceptable use
- Upload only archives you have the right to analyse.
- Do not use the service to develop or test techniques for evading the scanner, or to process content that is illegal where you are.
- Do not attempt to exhaust the service's resources. Uploads, scan creation and API calls are rate limited, and circumventing those limits is a breach of these terms.
- Do not use another person's account, API key or share link without permission.
We may suspend an account that breaches these rules. Suspension is a decision made by a person, is recorded, and can be appealed by writing to [email protected].
Plans, price and payment
The free plan requires no payment. The paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly in advance and renewing automatically until cancelled. The exact price and currency are shown before you confirm, both in the application and on the payment page, and that price is the total amount payable.
Titan Software z.s. is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to the amount shown and none is shown separately.
| Plan | Scans per 30 days | Max upload | API keys |
|---|---|---|---|
| FREE | 3 | 15 MB | — |
| PRO | 50 | 50 MB | — |
| STUDIO | 300 | 80 MB | 10 |
A deployment may apply lower ceilings than a plan grants; the effective limits are always shown on your billing page.
Payment is taken by Stripe. Your entitlement is granted when Stripe confirms the payment, not when your browser returns from the payment page.
Cancellation and renewal
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan and billing, which opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling stops the subscription from renewing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then reverts to the free plan. No further charge is made.
If a renewal payment fails, the plan reverts to free once the paid period ends. Nothing is deleted because of a failed payment, but the free plan's limits apply from then on.
Credit packs are a one-off purchase. Credits do not expire and are not refundable once the right of withdrawal has ended (see below).
Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason.
Because FXScan is digital content and a digital service supplied immediately, you are asked at checkout to expressly consent to performance beginning at once and to acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. If you give that consent, the right ends when we begin supplying. If you do not, the purchase does not complete.
Where you have not given that consent, or where it was not requested, you may withdraw within 14 days by writing to [email protected]. We will refund within 14 days of being told, by the same means you paid.
Refunds
Beyond the right of withdrawal above, and beyond your statutory rights where the service is defective, payments are not refunded — including for a period you did not use. We may nevertheless resolve an individual case in your favour, and doing so creates no entitlement for anyone else.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights. If the service does not work as described, you are entitled to have it put right, and to a reduction or a refund if it cannot be — those rights cannot be waived by agreement.
Availability and data retention
No uptime is guaranteed and no service level is promised. Data is deleted automatically once its retention window elapses — the periods are listed in the Privacy Policy — and there is no recovery mechanism for an expired scan. Download anything you need to keep.
Liability
The service is provided as it stands. To the extent the law allows, Titan Software is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or data, or for decisions you take on the basis of a report.
We do not exclude or limit liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for harm to life or health, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by this section.
Uploaded content
You keep every right you have in what you upload. We use it only to produce your report and to operate the service, and we do not publish it, share it or use it to train anything. Where an archive contains other people's personal data, the Data Processing Agreement governs how we handle it and forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change materially you will be asked to read and accept them the next time you sign in, and the version at the top of this page will change. If you do not accept, you can stop using the service and delete your account; any unused paid period will be refunded pro rata in that case.
Governing law and disputes
Czech law governs this contract. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules in your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts there.
Consumer disputes can be referred out of court to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, Štěpánská 44, 110 00 Praha 1, coi.cz), which is the competent alternative dispute resolution body. Before that, please write to us — most things are quicker to fix directly.
